Guildford Crematorium invites residents to leave messages in memory of loved ones on memorial Christmas Tree

Guildford Crematorium invites families to write a message in memory of loved ones to be placed on their memorial Christmas trees from Wednesday 2 December.

The trees and message tags will be located in the Remembrance Court next to the Book of Remembrance and the Flower Room at the newly built Crematorium. Families are warmly invited to visit the Remembrance Court to write a tag in person. Alternatively, if you are unable to visit, messages can be submitted online here or posted on a small card to Guildford Crematorium, New Pond Road, Godalming, Surrey GU7 3DB.

Lead Councillor for the Environment, Cllr James Steel says: “The last few months have been an extremely challenging time for many of our residents, and those in neighbouring boroughs who have lost family members and friends during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. We hope that the memorial trees will allow our residents to share some happy memories of their loved ones this Christmas.”
