Daily COVID stats in Surrey released as deaths in England and Wales rise
Surrey County Council has issued its data dashboard (below) highlighting the latest figures for cases of COVID-19 in the county as England and Wales has seen a concerning increase in deaths.
The figures below show both the number of new cases and the rate of infection in each borough and district in Surrey.
With cases still on the rise in most areas, residents should remain vigilant to slow any spread of the virus. The best way to prevent the spread of the virus is to stay alert and adhere to the following guidance:
- Keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible)
- Wear face coverings
- Wash your hands regularly
